The Hollywood Reporter newspaper's Heat Vision blog reports that the American film studio Warner Brothers "is in the process of securing the movie rights to" Tite Kubo's Bleach supernatural action manga series. Director Peter Segal (Get Smart, The Longest Yard, Anger Management) is lining himself up to produce, but not direct. The manga's North American publisher Viz Media and Segal's Callahan Filmworks partner Michael Ewing would also produce the proposed project.

The manga follows a 15-year-old boy named Ichigo Kurosaki who becomes a Soul Reaper — a "Shinigami" or "God of Death" who protects humans from the "Hollow" spirits that prey on them. Shueisha publishes the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan, and Studio Pierrot has been adapting the manga on television and in movie theaters since 2004. The Adult Swim programming block of America's Cartoon Network and Canada's YTV channel have been running the anime.

Warner Brothers has already acquired the rights to adapt Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note supernatural suspense manga, which — like Bleach — is published by Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan and by Viz Media in North America. Along with Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way production company, Warner Brothers is also developing adaptations of Yoshiaki Kawajiri and MADHOUSE's Ninja Scroll action anime film and Katsuhiro Otomo and Kodansha's Akira science-fiction manga. Viz set up an office in Hollywood in 2008 to promote Viz's properties to Hollywood interests.

I remember when Goo4 joined and I couldn’t really take him seriously but then he proved himself quite well with sigs and graphics and skill. He’s one of my favorite asian on the site LOL.

It was just sit around and watch youtube all day and be bored. Though the youtube watching did pay off because it linked me to this site. So I followed the link to the site and it looked pretty cool. The first thing I noticed was the arcade. So I figured I would join just to play that and even that was worth it. After the terror that I caused in the arcade for a short while, I got bored and headed on to BFC chat. Now at this point I typed slower then anybody should. I still type slow, but BFC actually helped me out positively in school since now I type fast. So anyways, I went to BFC chat and believe it or not I think the first friend I made was Ikez. Not saying that that was a bad thing at all, but back then he was very outgoing and nobody new his sexual orientation. When I first picked up the game I beat Subspace and everything to make sure I had all the characters. After that I just immediately picked up Marth again. Now I say again since I always played Melee at my cousin's house and he was really good. I stuck with him for a while until one day. I was searching youtube for Brawl and I feel upon and AT that basically selected my main for me. DACUS. Yes, Dacus did indeed select my main for me. I saw Snake sliding across the ground and I knew that I needed to do that. So I tried Snake for the longest time and he made no sense to me at all. I had mastered the Dacus, but everything else made no sense. So I took myself and my minimal knowledge back to chat where I played another person who helped me get to where I am today. This person was rfcr. Now at this time he always played Snake and I played him and played him and I kept losing and eventually I caught on. I started to win a few and decided to look up some more ATs. Finally my Snake was decent and I became known for something else then the arcade. A competitive Brawler was born.<br /> Money Toss (Click to View) Now I'll move on to the next thing which was 1YA. Yes, I just brought up 1YA in a 2YA blog. Anyways, I'll continue. Now 1YA was where I started to try to be the richest user on BFC. For a while I was saving up for VIP. At that time there where only 13 people who had it which seemed pretty normal at the time. Today so many people have it it is ridiculous. So at 1YA I was the first person to say, "I won day 1". After that there was an event which you had to by a special Item from the shop at some time during the day and I got that as well. Then the third day I had won again on the arcade game for another win. This continues with the fourth day in which DDM had an event using an old system that had Items for sale. There was a huge bug in the system and somehow I ended up winning that as well. The fifth event was a blog like this one and I won that as well. After that my rampage stopped except for on the eighth day which I half-won and event. At the end of the event I had enough for VIP and started my way with BFC trophies. That is where my wealth came from and still to this day I do that. <br /> A dull period (Click to View) Now this dull period was not too long ago. Basically for all of you thinking "Well what did you do from 1YA until then?" the answer is not much. Until my month of inactivity which was a month or so back from today, I just hung out on BFC not really doing anything exciting. This was when I would go on chat and talk a little and just hang out. I was being average. I made some good friends on chat that way. One being FishBait, but I'll get to that later. So this was a dull time for me. This wasn't BFC's fault in the least. I just had things in real life to do. I eventually found my way back about a month ago after one whole month of Call of Duty. He has donated to me plenty of times to help me get trophies and even put some up for the auction. He is also one of the people that I compete with on the arcade so that is fun as well. <br /> <br /> Shinn - She is a more recent friend then the others, but a friend all in the same.
