As some of you may know, I am taking my next step in High school, and that is becoming a Sophomore. I was never really looking forward to my future High school years because I never really had any chances of going to any other High school but this ghetto, rundown school I went to for my Freshman year, Abraham Clark, only due to money reasons, that is. I knew there was nothing I could do about it if we didn't have the money to get me into a good school so the best I could do was keep my grades up, which I managed to do, and luckily... it paid off.

I've been hoping to go to this private school in Jersey City by the name of St. Anthony's. Now, this school doesn't just focus on sports as much as it does academics but it's still one of the best schools in the state of New Jersey, and Jersey City. I myself don't really plan on focusing much on sports but my mom and dad say that if I actually do manage to get into the school, I'm gonna have to participate in everything... sports wise that is. I just planned on just keeping my grades up and staying quiet, and only having a couple of friends at that school would have helped me do so.

Okay, the part where you all can actually start reading now. Now, as I said before, I kept my grades up in Abraham Clark just to increase my chances of possibly getting into any other school, but without any money, that was gonna get me no where. Well JUST MY LUCK. My father received a raise in is salary and managed to save more money than usual to get me into St. Anythony's. I don't really remember how much the tuition was but after months of struggling with finances, we finally got it!

After we got the money down pact, I applied for the school sometime last month.
My mother got a call back today stating they are honored to have me coming into their school as a Sophomore! They say that they were mostly impressed by my grades and stated that my GPA was outstanding. They also said that I am eligible for a partial or FULL scholarship, but it's to late for that, so we would have to wait for my Jr. Year! My mom didn't inform me about my GPA score but it must have been good. Freshman year, I managed to make Honor-Roll 3 times in a row so I'm sure it had to be perfect.

All I'm happy about is... I'm finally going to a school where I may actually feel comfortable going to. This school over here is nothing but negativity and nonsense. I despised going to such a school and hope to never go back. I may be leaving some friends but it isn't like I won't be able to see them when school is out. Also, I'm closer to my friends back in Jersey City, I'm gonna be living with my Grandma and gonna be able to chill with my favorite cousin all day.

This is gonna be a great 3 years of High School.

Thanks bro! &I am going to try to keep video games at a low rate so I don't lose focus of my grades and such. Well, I'm definitely going to be playing them, just hopefully after I finish up with my studies and homework each night.

Well you're the same age as me, but I really thought you were older. I turn 16 the second of October, seriously thought you were like RJ2K's older brother or something. I must have misinterpreted that conversation we had a while back about it then.
