TBH, Puerto-Rico may be a US Territory (I dont think it is) but they have their own goverment.

Denmark owns 5 other countries, and they have their own goverment.
(Greenland, Latvia, Faroe Islands, Etc)

Greenland and Latvia has it's own representitives at least.


What do you think Puerto Rico is? Puerto Rico is a territory; it's not a state. Puerto Rico has its own local government but has follow federal US laws.


The correct term is USA has Sovriety over PR.

But PR is it's own country.

PR is not its own country. You do know that all PR citizens are considered American citizens? How can that happen if PR is its own country?
