*In one of my recent blogs I talked about attending a tourney. Yeah, I went to it (for those of you who I haven't told). Anyways, it was really fun!
Teams!
Doubles were up first, I was supposed to team up with Planky, but he showed up late >.>
So I ended up teaming up with Rizner a member I recently invited to our site. Not to mention one of the best Kirbies I've played. Considering the fact we had absolutely no previous team work we did okay. I let Rizner choose our team name which was "Yeeeaaaaaaahhhh!" xD

Brett Esposito Likes This Team Name (Seibrik+MVD) We lost 2-0
First set was against Seibrik and MVD, and I must say it was really stupid. Omnigay kinda raped Rizner ;-; but damn ask Rizner yourself, I think I pulled off the most incredible 2v1 performance anyone has ever seen, I think I took away 4 of 5 stocks with my 2. Second game we lost as well, it was really fun though, we didn't fall for the omnigay as easily this time around. Also, I pulled off a miracle whistle on omnigay and MK died instead. It was weird. I whistled on the ground and got brought up and somehow the c4 didn't affect me. And the ports were in MKs favor. It was amazing. Everyone was like wtf just happened, I was laughing xD

Well, I don't remember this set all too well, but I do remember losing. xD
It was a lot of fun though, I'll need to ask Riz if he remembers anything from this set.

1.)
Nick Riddle I lost : 2-1
First game was crazy, Nick Riddle's ZSS really reminded my of Auree's and I must say all those matches I did with Auree really paid off against him. I don't remember the set too well, but first game I barely lost brought him to like 103% last stock. Can't quite remember where I CP'd to, maybe it was FD iirc. However I pulled this game through really strong with a solid 2 stock. People were in shock, I could tell Nick wasn't too happy having all these people in the background telling me great job taking a game off of him. This is the part where everything spirals downwards. 3rd game, he brings us back to SV. Starts off throwing his pieces, normally I block them by throwing a few pikmin after plucking 2 pikmin, but I guess I wasn't paying attention and ended up plucking the 3rd which gives him enough time to hit me. There I go getting whaled in the helmet by suit pieces only to be gimped hella early. That basically sets my frustration for the remainder of the match, but I didn't give up. I fought on pivot grabbing etc etc Olimar stuff brought him to like 120% and only took about 20 damage and then I SD. Yay! It was kinda a lost cause after that, last stock I made tons of technical errors and ended up getting dsmash footstooled offstage, which is insta-death for Olimar. D; Well, that was a fun set, still extremely happy over taking a game off one of the best ZSSs (even if I did get 3-stocked after ;-;)

8Bitman I won - 2-1
My hate for Rob begins here. This MU is as annoying online as it is offline. Ugh I still remember it like it was yesterday... First game was on SV. I've never seen anyone play so aggro before, and I've always had a slight problem with aggro players, I guess my playstyle doesn't counter it too well or maybe I just get overwhelmed. Anyways, this guy basically landed on me with nair/fair to dsmash every damn time, and for some reason I couldn't grab after the nair and would get dsmashed even though I pop out of it every time with good DI it's still like 5 damage. After failing to punish that 219048 times, I decided just to wait for the dsmash to end and instead grab/dsmash after. For some freaking reason I would get hit with a jab half of the time and started thinking "Wow, this guy either buffers really well or really likes to smash buttons." My last idea to mix it up was to just spam pivot grabbing, it worked for quite awhile until this guy got really desperate and started planking the entire match. Rob... Planking... this is so annoying! Even though I could power shield almost everything he has, I wasn't getting anywhere. Slowly I was getting chipped away at and it was just annoying. I hit him with the weak part of fsmash a few times, but he was still quite a bit ahead. Eventually he killed me. And there goes game 1. :L
Game 2, he bans BF, so I went to FD. I knew this might have been a bad idea, but by now I picked apart his playstyle and man was it hilarious. I punished his landing spot on his entire first stock and killing him before I took much damage ~30. This is where the planking began. I came up with the ingenious idea to steal his gyro, and just run from him spamming my side b only leaving him with 1 tool which wasn't so great with the coverage gyro gave him. There I am running the entire match walling pikmin toss at him, it was hilarious and to this day I think about it and laugh. I beat him quite easily that round with a confident 2 stocks. Last game using the same strategy I win the set, except this time due to 2 SDs it was only 1 stock remaining, quite scary. x.x

MasterRaven I lost 2-1
This guy has to be one of the best MKs I've ever played if not THE best. I was never able to land safely, always being hit by a dsmash or an upb or something else, not to mention how good he was at juggling. He kept me aerial probably half of our first match, it wasn't something I was used to but I definitely picked on after awhile. I was impervious to his Nado'ing though, I whistled almost through every last one of them and got free punishes. An SD and 2 gimps later I lose the first round him having 2 stocks and being past 120%. Game 2 I take him to PS1 and win with 2 stocks, I really love the pikmin arrangement there. <3 Game 3 he brings us back to SV again. This time I do a lot better, but after 2 shuttle loop kills and a gimp I'm done for =P
At least I don't ever feel bad losing to MK.

TrueBlue I won 2-1
Lol Sonic. And this one had a lot of spin dash... Like seriously. He was a pretty good Sonic, knew how to try and launch Olimar up with the spring at the start of my stocks, but I avoided it every time. I basically spammed fsmash so he couldn't approach, Poor Sonic... I devastated him first game with a near jv 3 stock. He proceeds to bring me to SV again I think, but this time he does a lot better, I guess I kinda got my head out of the game/got lazy/overconfident. It happens. Sonic is so boring and annoying to fight. I think I SD'd at least once that game too. Game 3 I was mentally telling myself, I'm gonna win this.

Mandef I won 2-0
Another Rob, not much to say about this one, but it was much easier than 8Bit. I didn't even ban a stage against this guy.

Now for actual bracket sets. The time between pools and the actual bracket was forever, so mostly during that time I was doing a ton of friendlies. /pre-johns loljk

I don't remember this math too well, probably because it was kinda easy. I dunno, I've just gotten extremely well at the Marth MU over some time *cough*

MVD I lost 2-0
I really don't know what happened here, I was seriously raping... No, terrorizing this guy 1st stock. Like I had him to 130 before I took more than 20%. Then he gets all his peeps behind him cheering him on. Dx
This game gets really frustrating when everyone is rooting for your opponent. First game I lost barely... and I mean barely, but stupidly falling into his c4. I take him to FD, again I start raping him and I didn't let anyone get to me this time. I had a nice lead, a whole stock and a half ahead. Suddenly, SD. I still felt confident cause I was still ahead. He caught up by a nice margin and we were even for the rest of the game I gained my lead back after killing him he then got a nice nade kill on me. I continue to pursuit him with my Olimar power :3 however them my pikmin decide to not cooperate and as I get knocked offstage they all desynced ;-;
I go to tether the ledge and something really weird happens, the tether misses the ledge as if I'd already grabbed it 3 times. But I know I didn't. Such a disappointing loss, I won't forget it. I don't even know what to say, but I had that game. D:

I don't remember this guy too well at all, but I think I 2-0d him pretty easily. He wasn't that great =/

ManDef I won 2-1
Same as before, except I was so annoyed by fighting Rob so much he actually took a game off of me somehow. I then proceeded to 3 stock him last game >.>

MasterRaven I lost 2-1
First thought... ogawd not this guy again. This set was much closer than the last though, I pulled out all my tricks and avoided landing in front of him as much as possible. Though I started getting lazy trying to whistle through Nado... It's a lot of work. Game 3 he CPd BF, I was quite surprised at his choice. Not to mention how well I did on this stage compared to SV, I literally was wrecking him for the first half of the game. I had the lead a majority of the time and I was really confident. I thought I had this set in the bag. Long story short, I SD once again! Hooray I'm so good at this. I think it was just pressure that caused me to do so. Also, something hilarious that this guy and MVD did after everytime I got some sort of nice combo/string on them. They say "Okay" or "Yeep" or something else weird, lmao it kinda threw me off focus tbh but it was absolutely fucking hilarious xDDD
Now as for videos... I was told that there were a few sets uploaded such as winner's and loser's finals of singles and dubz as well as a few other sets. Now as to where I can find these videos. I've asked and have not been able to find them so far -- unfortunately. :c
